Debbie has been teaching math since 1979 at all levels of public education: two years in Elementary, ten years in Middle School (Math and Science) and 20 years at the High School level (Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Remedial Math). Debbie has also been a private tutor. After retirement at Red Lion Area Senior High School, Debbie became an adjunct professor and field services supervisor. After moving to North Carolina in July of 2015, Debbie has been substituting and tutoring in the Brunswick County Schools. Debbie is also the Program Director of a 501C3 non-profit, Samara’s Village, which works with teens who are pregnant and/or parenting.
Debbie feels blessed to be living at the beach with her husband, Steve, and her two small dogs. She enjoys spending time with friends by exploring the Cape Fear region, kayaking, shopping and traveling to California to see her grandchildren as often as she can.
