Rachel Day

Rachel was born and raised on the New England shores of Massachusetts and New Hampshire. The values of hard work and family strength are the heart of her life choices, from her involvement in the early childhood movement in her early career to her 30 year commitment toward positive growth in Elementary Education.

Rachel earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Elementary Education at Nathaniel Hawthorne College in NH. She spent the first 10 years of her career building a Childcare center in Manchester NH. Next, she worked at Notre Dame College as a House Director where she also earned her Masters in Education. Following her Masters, the next 30 years of Rachel’s career were spent as an elementary teacher.

Since transplanting to North Carolina, Rachel and her family have spent a lot of time soaking in the southern lifestyle. She also has continued her work as an educator, working both as a tutor and as a substitute teacher in Brunswick and New Hanover School Districts
