While pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering at Union College, David discovered his love and aptitude for coding and computer science. He graduated with his BS in Electrical Engineering and an MS in Computer Science in 1986. David returned to school and received his MS in Legal Studies from Albany Law School in 2003, where his concentration in Alternative Dispute Resolution sparked an interest in the field of Mediation. Once Certified as a Mediator, David volunteered in Albany County small claims court and facilitated solutions to a number of disputes in the court’s backroom.
David has spent his last 16 years training university faculty, administrators, staff and students to use Research Administration software. These training sessions included many one-on-one sessions, small groups, and formal classroom training with dozens of students. David’s love of teaching began long before his children arrived and became a hobby-of-passion as he coached many youth soccer teams, Little League baseball teams, and spent countless hours helping his own children and their friends. His patience and mentoring skills have been a common thread throughout his varied career and experiences as a parent. David’s love of learning and passion for working with young adults has led him to this new chapter with Peak Learning Solutions.
