Michelle is a Colorado native. She spent her educational career in Cherry Creek schools as an English teacher for 13 years and a counselor for 19 years. Michelle worked with all levels of students including AVID, AP and IB students. She was Counseling Department Coordinator for 10 years and District Counseling Liaison for 3 years. She loves working with students to find their individual post-secondary pathways. In addition to her work with high school students, she has worked in professional development for high school counselors training in college admissions counseling and program implementation. When not working, Michelle loves to travel, walk and hike, and read.
